Harambee Stars opponents in their second group game of the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers Ghana are expected to land in Nairobi on Thursday 6 September evening ahead of the clash two days later at the MISC Kasarani.
The team, coached by Kwesi Appiah, has been training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia since Tuesday with the team having all the 20 players summoned to camp.
The team will be looking to win to consolidate top spot in a group that also has Ethiopia and Sierra Leone.
The team is expected to conduct their final training session in Ethiopia on Thursday morning before leaving for Nairobi.
Ghana recorded a resounding 5-0 win over Ethiopia in their first group game hosted in Ghana.
Meanwhile the team has been boosted by the arrival of right back Harrison Afful who plies his trade in the USA with Columbus Crew. The defender was the only member to have not made it to camp in time but was expected to be part of the Thursday morning session.
The defender arrives after chipping in with a goal in his side’s 2-1 win over New York City FC.
