The 2018-19 FKF National Super League entered its tenth round on Friday 25th with five matches played across the country.
The top two teams, Ushuru FC and Wazito FC were both in action with the log leaders in a tough duel against Nairobi Stima. A barren draw was played out at the Karuturi Grounds as Stima slowed the Taxmen down, Wazito’s 2-0 win on the road to Coast Stima therefore cuts Ushuru’s lead at the top to just two points.
Teddy Osok and Joe Waithira were the men on target for Ahmed D’Mchula’s Wazito at the Mbaraki Sports Club for a win that now takes them to 24 points from ten matches.
Before the barren draw pitting Stima and Ushuru, Kenya Police had taken down visiting Migori Youth by three goals to one in the first match of the double header at Karuturi Grounds. Charles Omondi’s Police climbs to 5th on 17 points pending Saturday’s matches while Migori Youth stay second from bottom.
Eldoret Youth’s travel to Thika on Friday ended in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bidco United while Modern Coast Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by Kibera Black Stars at the Serani Sports Club.
