After two months of free agency, Harambee Stars striker Masud Juma has joined defending Libyan Premier League side Al Nasr SC on an 18 month deal.
The club is his third since joining the pro ranks after the conclusion of the 2017 KPL season, a season in which he claimed the golden boot after netting 17 goals for Kariobangi Sharks. He had been without a club since parting ways with UAE side Dibba Al Fujairah earlier in the year.
He arrived at the North African country on Saturday 23 February before confirming the deal a day later.
Al Nasr is a club based in the coastal city of Benghazi which is the second most populous city in Libya. The club was formed in 1954 and have won the topflight title twice in their 65 year existence, the latest being the 2018 crown.
They currently lie in 6th place in Group A of the league with 9 points, eight adrift of top spot but they do have a game in hand.
Following their title winning heroics last year, Al Nasr qualified for the 2019 CAF Champions League preliminaries but were dumped out in the final stage by Horoya of Guinea to drop down to the CAF Confederations Cup preliminaries where they were still not successful, losing to Salitas FC of Burkina Faso.
Masud was part of the 25 man squad that was called up to camp by Stars head coach Sebastein Migne last week for a one day training session.
He joins Al Nasr having netted four goals in 10 appearances in the UAE.
