Kenyan youngster joins Serbian side

Kenyan youngster Albert Fosa Muema has joined Serbian First League side FK Sinđelić Beograd on a six month deal.

The forward underwent successful trials and could start his first match when the second leg starts with a game against Novi Pazaar on Wednesday 27 February.

He says he has adapted well to the conditions in the Eastern Europe nation and is looking forward to banging in goals.

“I’m getting used to the Serbian culture and their way of doing things.
When I came it was winter and it was a challenge to play in the cold conditions,” said the former Ligi Ndogo forward.

“My main target is to get as many minutes on the playing field as possible and score goals,” he added.

Muema played in two friendly matches during his trials; against Teleoptik (Youth team of FK Partizan) and Graficar (Youth team of Red Star Belgrade) and says he now knows what to expect as he kicks off his Serbian sojourn.

Muema has also previously played in Australia for Brandon Park FC and most recently in Thailand for FC Bangkok.
