Arsenal trained coach joins Wazito

Youthful tactician Hamisi Mohamed had joined National Super League side, Wazito FC as one of the assistant coaches at the club.

Hamisi’s arrival comes at a time when the club sacked its head coach Ahmed Dmchulla and his assistant Hussein Muhammad. Fred Ambani was retained as one of the assistant coaches.

Hamisi was present in training at Camp Toyoyo Grounds on Thursday morning as the team prepared for Friday game against St. Joseph’s Youth FC game that will be played at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

Assistant coach role

“Moha has joined the team as an one of the assistant coaches. We will name the the head coach soon,” a source from Wazito camp revealed.

Coach Kaka as he’s famously refered to is the founder of Young Talents Soccer Academy in Embul Bul, Ngong. In 2018, he won a chance to be trained at English Premier League side, Arsenal under the Future Stars Programme run by WorldRemit.

Former Harambee Stars coach, Stanley Okumbi is expected to take over as Wazito FC head coach.
