2018 Chapa Dimba na Safaricom Most Valuable Player Mercy Akinyi Airo took Starlets off the blocks in the first half with a quickfire brace. The cue for more was now on the club’s all team leading scorer Bertha Omita who added a third briefly before the break.
Juma Saidi’s girls were well on their way to claiming their first victory of the 2019 WPL campaign with a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
