The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed the match officials for the 2019 U23 African Cup of Nations qualifier pitting Sudan U23 against Kenya U23 slated for Wednesday 20 March at the Al-Merrikh Stadium starting 8pm EAT.
Egyptian referee Ibrahim Nour Eldin will be the center referee in the first leg, second round clash.
Edlin will be assisted by his countrymen, Samir Gamal Saad as the first assistant referee, and Hany Abelfattah Mahmoud as the second assistant referee while the fourth official will be Ahmed Elghandour.
The Match Commissioner and Referee Assessor will be Youssouf Guedi Guireh from Djibouti and Algerian Kria Samir Bouzareah respectively.
The second leg of the tie is set for Tuesday 26 March in Nairobi, with the winner on aggregate set to face either Nigeria or Libya in the third and final round.
The 2019 AFCON U23 finals in Egypt will also form the qualifiers for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, with the best three finishers are the tournament getting the ticket for the games as Africa’s representatives.
