Kenyan International Albert Forsa Muema made his debut for Serbian second-tier side FK Sinđelić Beograd as the side went down 1-3 to FK Bezanija in a friendly match played on Thursday 18th April at the Stadion Bezanije.
Muema, who joined the team on a six-month deal earlier this season, says he’s progressing well and hoping to make his league debut soon.
“I have been working very hard and I have made tremendous progress. I think I have now adapted to the conditions in Serbia and I am ready for action now,” he said,
“It felt good to play 75 minutes against Bezanija and I am really looking forward to making my league debut.” He added.
FK Sindelic Beograd is bottom of the 8-team log and will face second-placed Javor Ivanjica in a league match on Saturday 20th April at the Stadion FK Sinđelić from 5 PM EAT, a game Muema hopes to play a part in.
He has previously played in Australia for Brandon Park FC and most recently in Thailand for FC Bangkok.
