Gaspo Women and Kisumu All Starlets recorded the biggest wins in the Women Premier League (WPL) as the season entered the 11th round of matches this past weekend.
Gaspo meted out a 4 – 0 bashing of Kisumu All Starlets on Saturday 4 May to consolidate their place at the WPL log on 33 points.
Kisumu All Starlets returned the favor on Sunday, recording a 4 – 0 win over their hosts, Zetech Sparks at Ruiru Grounds.
Relegation threatened, Kayole Starlets having recorded no win in the season, were forced to deal with another loss, beaten by Spedag 1-2 on Sunday.
It was Spedag’s first win of the season, and saw them move to third from bottom with four points.
Third placed Trans Nzoia Falcons edged out Thika Queens 2-0 on Sunday picking three points to move to 27, as Thika Queens remained sixth position with 18 points.
