Sony Sugar claimed a 2-0 victory over KCB in round 28 Knyan Premier League (KPL) fixture played at the Awendo Green Stadium on Thursday 9 May to complete a league double over the Bankers having claimed a 1-0 win in the two team’s first leg meeting.
An own-goal from Bankers keeper Omar Adisa and a strike from Derrick Otanga either side of halftime proved enough for the millers to claim all three points that lift them up to 6th on the standings with 45 points.
KCB on their part fail to build on their weekend win over Mt. Kenya United and remain in 11th place with 34 points.
