Machakos the venue as Shield Cup enters penultimate round

The 2018-19 FKF Shield Cup has reached the semi-final stage with the four teams remaining set to do battle this Sunday 12 May in a double header scheduled at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Defending champions Kariobangi Sharks made it through to their fourth successive semi-final appearance and will take on fellow Premier League side in KCB for a chance to grace the final while the other semi-final will see coastal outfits Bandari FC and FKF Division One side SS Assad go head to head.


Bandari and SS Assad will kick off proceedings from 2PM local time with Sharks and KCB taking centre stage from 4:15PM.

Bandari and KCB powered their way to the semis by outmuscling Western Stima and Bidco United respectively with similar 4-1 scorelines while SS Assad defeated fellow third division side Congo Boyz 2-1 with Sharks needing penalties to get past Bungoma Superstars.
