Four players will be suspended for the penultimate round of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) with two of them coming from the KCB camp.
Brian Ochieng and Baraka Bady will miss The Bankers’ home tie against Ulinzi Stars at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos set for this Sunday 26 May as a result of accumulation of bookings.
For Ochieng though, KCB’s previous game away to Nzoia Sugar in which he picked up a red card, sadly becomes his last of the season as he will also miss the last game of the campaign against Zoo FC.
The other two players to miss the upcoming round as a result of accumulation of bookings are Zoo defender Stanislaus Akiya and Chemelil keeper Morgan Alube.
Akiya will miss his team’s home tie against Kakamega Homeboyz to be played at the Green Stadium in Kericho on Sunday while Alube will not be in contention for Mathare United’s visit to the Chemelil Sports Complex on Saturday.
With Gor Mahia having wrapped up this season’s title with two games to play, all attention in the two remaining rounds will be cast at the opposite end of the table to find out which two teams will join Mt. Kenya United as this season’s relegated sides.
Posta Rangers, Chemelil Sugar, Zoo FC and Vihiga United are all in the relegation bracket.
