The English Premier League (EPL) fixtures for the 2019-20 season has been released with the kick-off date set for Friday 9 August.
The standout fixture of the opening weekend will see Manchester United hosting Chelsea who are reported to be on the search for a new manager with Maurizio Sarri linked with Juventus.
The two giants will face on Sunday 11 August at the Old Trafford and either side will be hoping to kick off in style.

Bidding for a third consecutive Premier League title, Manchester City open their title defense with a trip to London Stadium to face West Ham United on Saturday 10.
City’s first home game will see Tottenham visit the Etihad Stadium the following weekend on Saturday 17 and later City will play away to Bournemouth in the third week of the season.
Arsenal open their campaign at Newcastle United on Sunday 11 and thereafter go on a a tough run of matches, against Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United before October.

Norwich City and Aston Villa will be coming back to EPL after a three – year absence while Sheffield United return after over a decade of absence.
Norwich finished top of the Championship with 94 points, closely followed by Sheffield who ended their season with 89 points both two teams gaining automatic promotion, while Aston has to go through the play offs to secure promotion.
