The off-season transfer window was officially opened on Monday 17 June, with teams allowed to trade in players for the next three months, up to 2 September.
Clubs across all the tiers are set to open registration of players with the top two leagues set to attract the big moves.
With just hours gone into the transfer window, Wazito FC, newly promoted to the top flight, have made the biggest headlines as they prepare for the coming season.
The team is reported to have sealed moves for Sony Sugar FC’s lead scorer in 2018/19 season, Derrick Otanga and Mathare United’s top scorer in the same season, Cliff Nyakeya.
Reports also have it that the team has sealed deals for Gor Mahia midfielder Cersidy Okeyo and Sony keeper Kevin Omondi.
Kisumu All Stars
Meanwhile, Kisumu All Stars, another promoted side, is reported to have agreed terms with Kisumu Hot Stars defender Isaac Omondi.
KPL champions are also reported to have secured the signature of Cameroonian Charles Edoa Nga from Eswatini top league side Royal Leopards.
A top target for KPL teams also, is Nairobi Stima forward Dennis Oalo, who netted 24 goals in the 2018/19 National Super League season.
