BREAKING: Injury curse creeps-up yet again for Stars as Marcelo misses training ahead of Senegal clash

The injury bug has yet again hit the Harambee Stars camp in Egypt with defender Eric Marcelo Ouma now a doubt for the do or die final group game at the ongoing AFCON finals against Senegal after he missed Sunday evening’s training session.

Stars are set to face off with the Teranga Lions on Monday 1 July at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo from 10pm EAT and it looks now that Ouma is a huge doubt for the game which has both teams aiming for a win to be sure of passage to the knockout round.

Tied in Group C

Both teams are tied at three points each in Group C, separated only by goal difference. A win for either team will mean qualification out of the group while a draw could also be beneficial for both with this year’s tourney incorporating the best placed, third place teams into the last 16 stage.
