Former Gor Mahia midfielder Khalid Aucho has secured a move to Egyptian Premier League side Misr el – Makassa after a run of impressive performance for his country Uganda at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Aucho, who spent that last one year in India with East Bengal and Churchill Brothers FC, returns to Africa having previously featured for Kenya’s Tusker FC and South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Baroka FC.
Two year deal
He has been offered a two – year deal at the Egyptian side following the expiry of his deal with Churchill Brothers.
Aucho featured in each of Uganda Cranes’ four matches at the 2019 African Cup of Nations as the East African giants secured passage to the second round before falling narrowly to Senegal.
He was also part of the Ugandan national team that took part in the 2017 African Cup of Nations finals, where the team crashed out at the group stages.
