Gor Mahia tours west Africa, picks ‘Tuyisenge replacement’

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia added to their firepower Ivory Coast national Gislein Yikpe Gnamian, a striker the club deems the perfect replacement for Jacques Tuyisenge.

The west African joins the Kenyan champions from Ivorian top flight side Sporting Club Gagnoa which finished the Ivorian season 11th in the 14 – team league.

In training

Gor Mahia reports that the striker, 23, is already in training with his new team mates and will be eligible to feature for the team in the coming CAF Champions League campaign.

He comes just days after head coach Hassan Oktay acknowledged that his team did not have the firepower to compete for honors in the league.

Forward line

He will join a forward line that also has Nicholas Kipkirui, Dennis Oliech, Burundian international Francis Mustafa as well as new signings Dennis Oalo and Dickson Ambundo.
