The Kenya national team Harambee Stars has dropped two places down in the latest FIFA Rankings, released on Thursday 25 July, settling at position 107 globally.
In Africa, Kenya is placed 25th.
Stars, who took part in the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and played two friendly matches within the rankings period, lost a massive six points, dropping the tally from 1207 to 1201.
One win at AFCON
The team managed just one win in the AFCON finals, beating a lower ranked Tanzania 3 – 2 and lost 2 – 0 and 3 – 0 to Algeria and Senegal respectively at the group stages.
In East Africa, Uganda still tops the rankings despite remaining static in the global rankings. The East African giants are placed 80th in the world and 16th in Africa.
Senegal remains the best ranked team in Africa and Belgium lead the world rankings while world champions France are third and South American champs Brazil are second.
