Burundian officials picked for Tanzania – Kenya clash

The match officials for the first leg of the Sunday 28 July 2020 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier pitting Tanzania against Kenya will be drawn from Burundi.

At the center, in the game set to be played at the Dar National Stadium starting 4pm EAT, will be referee Thierry Nkurunziza and he will be aided by Herve Kakunze as the first assistant.

Pascal Ndimunzigo will be the second assistant referee in the clash then Georges Gatogato, also from Burundi will be the fourth official.

Second time

Carlos Francisco Come from Mozambique will serve in the game as the match commissioner.

The two teams will be facing off for the second time in a span of a month after meeting in Group C of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), which Kenya picked a 3 – 2 win.

The aggregate winner in this tie will book a clash with Sudan, in another two legged tie that would see the winner qualify for the final tournament.
