Ugandan referees for Kenya – Tanzania return clash

The Confederation of African Football has picked Ugandan match officials to run the 2020 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier pitting Kenya’s Harambee Stars against Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Sunday 4 August.

The clash at Moi International Sports Center (MISC) Kasarani will be manned by Brian Nsubuga who will serve as the center referee.

Katenya, Okello

He will be assisted by his compatriots Ronald Katenya, serving as the first assistant referee, and Lee Okello as the second assistant referee.

Another Ugandan, Alex Muhabi will be the fourth official while Gaspard Kayijuka from Rwanda will be the match commissioner.

The two nations played to a barren draw in the first leg in Dar es Salaam on Sunday 28 July and will be seeking an aggregate win that would set up a meeting with Sudan in the final stage of the qualifiers.
