Former Tusker Youth FC midfielder Fidel Johnson Jock is already down to business at his new club Singburi Bangrajun FC in the Thai League 3 and made his debut against Phitsanulok FC, a match they won 2-1.
The youngster has featured in The Bangrajan Warriors last three matches and says it’s more competitive than any league he has featured in before.
”The league is competitive and compared to other leagues I have played it’s a good one, from fans to the stadiums,” says the man who finds a challenge in communication at his new station.
”My only challenge is the language because these guys speak only Thai and thus makes it hard to get some instructions,”
The Bangrajan Warriors currently sit 5th on the 10 team log with 34 points and know that only a top-three finish can see them head for the play-offs.
”I just thank God I’m settling in fast because my debut match gave me a lot of confidence. The manager Theapthana Sappot now has trust in my and I thank him for that,” adds Fidel.
The Warriors’ next task is a dicey affair against 2nd place Mae Jo United on August 11, a side that sits a massive 11 points above them. A win here is a massive boost to their top 3 finish.
”We know that only two teams qualify for the playoffs so we have to work hard in the remaining matches. We believe we can make it all the way up in the remaining matches,” he concludes.
The 19-year-old was in the books of Sudan giants El Merreikh before making the pro switch to Thailand and has also featured for the South Sudan national U20 team four times.
