NSL side to camp in Kakamega in pre-season preps ahead of new season

Nairobi City Stars will set up camp in Kakmega for the next 10 days as they take their preparations for the upcoming National Super League (NSL) season up a notch.

The camp will see the side play two friendly matches against top tier opposition in Nzoia Sugar and Kakamega Homeboyz before coming back to Nairobi where they are set to host their season opener against Shabana FC at the Hope Centre on September 1.

The team has already played two friendly matches against AFC Leopards and Wazito FC, losing both matches by similar 1-0 scorelines.

The high profile friendly matches are geared at fine-tuning the team as they attempt to return back to the KPL following their 2016 relegation.
