Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia have been busy in the transfer window and as preparations for the 2019/20 season continue, the club has confirmed the acquisition of Kenyan international Clifton Miheso Ayisi.
The move comes just over two weeks after the winger sealed a move to National Super League (NSL) side Kenya Police FC, after failing to agree terms with AFC Leopards.
His move to Kenya Police just about permitted him to feature for the national team in the two legged African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier against Tanzania as Kenya was bundled out.
Even before turning out competitively for Police, Gor Mahia reveals that the midfielder has signed a two year deal, making him the 18th new player at the club, after unveiling 17 new men earlier.
Apart from his ability to play in midfield, Ayisi can also comfortably feature in the left back role and was a member of the CECAFA Senior Challenge title winning team of 2013.
He has previously featured for AFC Leopards, Thika United and Sofapaka in the KPL while he has as well had stints with South African side Golden Arrows, Zambian side Buildcon FC, Finnish side VPS and Portuguese side
