OFFICIAL: Gor Mahia prize away Miheso from Police

Just three weeks after being confirmed as Kenya Police’s newest recruit, Harambee Stars winger Clifton Miheso has left the National Super League (NSL) side to put pen to paper on a two year deal with Gor Mahia.

Miheso joined Police in July on a one year deal after being released by Portuguese 3rd division side Olimpico Montidjo and now signs for the record KPL champions just weeks before the 2019-20 season begins.

He becomes new head coach Steven Polack’s first signing.

Miheso last played a competitive club game in Kenya back in 2016 when he featured for Gor’s perennial rivals AFC Leopards.

In the three years he has been away, Miheso who was part of Kenya’s failed qualification bid for next year’s CHAN tournament, has played in Zambia, South Africa, Finland and Portugal.

His first piece of action for the green army will come in the shape of Bandari FC, who K’Ogalo are set to lock horns with on Sunday in the season curtain raiser, the KPL Super Cup.
