EA Games: Kenyan girls dominant in day 5 as St Anthony, Dagoreti advance

All the three Kenyan representatives were all victorious on day 5- Wednesday 21st at the ongoing East Africa School championships in Arusha Tanzania.

National champions Nyakach made mincemeat of Kihesa from Tanzania- dispatching them 2-0. Itigo Girls and Arch Bishop Njenga Girls recorded twin 1-0 victories over Kawempe Muslim and St Noa respectively to end the group stages on a high.

In the boys’ category, national champions St Anthony Boys Kitale were held to a barren draw by Standard High School Zzana but will advance to the quarter-finals having already won two of their four group matches. Their only loss of the groups came against Buddo SS who finish top.

Dagoreti’s only loss came against St Mary’s Kitende [IMAGE- File]

Dagoreti High School, meanwhile, finished the group stages on a high with a 2-0 over guest team Blantyre from Malawi. The Nairobi Region champions had lost 1-0 to St Mary’s Kitende yesterday but finish second in the group on superior goal difference to Ruwuiko.
