The Kenya U15 national team has emerged as one of the top dogs at the ongoing CECAFA U15 tournament in Eritrea, and after topping Group A of the first round, they will be hoping to carry the good run to the semis.
The team won three and drew one of its four group games to set the pace going into the last four, where it is lined up to meet Rwanda.
Kenya beat Somalia 3 – 1 before seeing off Sudan 4 – 1 and hosts Ertrea 2 – 1 then drew 1-1 with Burundi in the group games played between Friday 16 and Thursday 21 August.
The juniors will face off with Rwanda on Wednesday 28 August at the Asmara Stadium starting 2pm EAT.
The other semifinal will see Uganda clash with Burundi at 4:30pm EAT at the same venue.
Meanwhile, the final has been scheduled for Friday 30 August in Asmara.
