The venue for the Saturday 31 August Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash pitting defending champions Gor Mahia against Tusker FC has been moved from Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos to Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
The change on the opening week of the KPL means there will be a doubleheader at Moi Stadium with the match earlier scheduled for the venue – Kisumu All-Stars versus Ulinzi Stars reverting to 2 pm from the earlier listed 3 pm.
The Gor Mahia versus Tusker match will thus be kicking off at 4:15 pm.
Gor will kick off the season on a high, having made it to the first round of the CAF Champions League after defeating Burundi’s Aigle Noir 5-1 on aggregate.
Earlier, Gor Mahia pipped Bandari 1 – 0 at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, to win the 2019/20 KPL Super Cup.
