Vihiga United, MKU in action as NSL gets underway with Sunday action

The 2019/20 Football Kenya Federation National Super League (NSL) season is set to kick off on Sunday 1 September across different venues in the country.

Ten matches have been lined up in round one with the 20-team league welcoming APS Bomet, Muranga Seal and Vihiga Bullets, promoted from the third tier Division One League and Mt. Kenya United and Vihiga United who were relegated from the Kenyan Premier League.

Change

Meanwhile, following a change in ownership, Eldoret Youth has a new identity, and will feature in the League as Northern Wanderers.

Camp Toyoyo will be the busiest of the venues, hosting a doubleheader starting 2pm as Northern Wanderers play host to Nairobi Stima before paving way for FC Talanta versus Vihiga Bullets.

The highlight of round one will be the police derby featuring Kenya Police against newbies APS Bomet at the Karuturi Sports Ground at 1 pm.
