Kenya’s representatives at this season’s CAF Confederations Cup, Bandari FC will be in action this Saturday 14 September at the MISC Kasarani where they will play host to Ben Guerdane of Tunisia in the two teams’ first-leg tie of the penultimate round to reach the tournament’s group stage.
The match which has been scheduled for a 3PM kick off, will have its tickets retail at a flat rate charge of Kshs 100 all round.
Bandari, who have made their own personal history by progressing to this round for the very first time, will be aiming to make more history and inch closer to becoming only the second club from Kenya to reach the group stages of any CAF club tournament behind Gor Mahia.
If Bernard Mwalala’s charges can secure an aggregate victory over their Tunisian opponents, they will qualify for the third and final round to reach the group stages. The Coastal outfit defeated Sudanese side Al Ahli Shandi in the previous round.
The officials for the match have been chosen and they will be led by Centre Referee Alhadi Allaou Mahmat from Chad.
Access to the match venue could be a bit of a hustle on matchday due to the ongoing construction of the city bound expressway of the Thika Superhighway at Allsopps, so motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
