The Kenya U20 national team head coach Stanley Okumbi has trimmed his squad from 41 to 28 as the 2019 CECAFA U20 Tournament approaches, with the team pooled in Group B of the competition.
In the tournament, set to be staged in Uganda starting September 21, Kenya U20 has been pooled alongside Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zanzibar in Group B.
With a week to go, Okumbi has slashed down the team to a manageable size, with a few more players set to be dropped as the tournament approaches.
