Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso is hoping his team can deliver better result in the game against Mathare United when the two sides face off on Match Day 3 of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) on Saturday 21 September at MISC, Kasarani.
While the coach embraced the point picked by his team on Saturday 14 September against Sofapaka, he called upon his charges to be more positive as they head to their next assignment.
He acknowledged that his team needs to work on finishing to have a better chance of picking three points against Mathare United, who are yet to post a win so far in the season.
“I think 0 – 0 was not a bad result, considering Sofapaka is a strong side. We played well too, and the only concern I take to training for the next game is the finishing.
“Mathare United is a different side from Sofapaka; another strong and organized side so we need to really work on the areas we think denied us three points in the Sofapaka game. We have started training on a high and I believe we will do better,” he said on the club website.
Meanwhile, the site reports that Omar Mbongi is back in training at after staying out of the opening two games, with injury and illness after his participation in the EAC Military Games.
