The Kenya national team, Harambee Stars has not registered a move on the latest release of the FIFA Rankings, staying rooted at position 107 on the global scale.
In between the August and September rankings, Kenya played two international matches, against Tanzania in the 2020 CHAN qualifiers, which ended in a 0 – 0 draw before Tanzania won on post match penalties, and against Uganda, a friendly game that ended 1 – 1.
Second best in CECAFA
The ranking has Kenya as the second best side in the CECAFA region, behind Uganda who have also not registered a move from their 80th placed ranking in the previous release.
Senegal is still the best ranked nation in Africa and 20th in the world while Belgium tops the list in the world.
World champions France are ranked second on the roster, with Brazil, England and Portugal following in that order.
