Bandari FC will depart the country on Wednesday 25 September for Tunisia where they are set to face-off against Ben Guerdane in the two teams’ CAF Confederations Cup return-leg fixture scheduled for Friday.
The coastal outfit head to the North African nation with hopes of sailing through to the third and final round of the tournament’s group stage qualifiers, after securing a massive 2-0 win in the first-leg fixture played at the MISC Kasarani a fortnight ago.
Bernard Mwalala’s men held their final training session in the country on Tuesday.
Bandari have never been this far in any continental campaign and have already made a piece of history courtesy of their first-leg win as it is their first in CAF continental games.
The Mombasa based side have begun the season in superb form and currently sit joint first in the KPL with seven points after three match days.
Guerdane on their part are having a relatively positive start to the Tunisian topflight where they lie second with two wins from their first three matches.
