As the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) enters the fifth round of action, the league management has made a number of changes to the kickoff times and venues for the matches set for Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 October.
The Western Stima and Ulinzi Stars game set for Saturday 5 October will now be played in Mumias after it emerged that the earlier listed venue, Moi Stadium, Kisumu will be unavailable on the day.
The kickoff time for the match also changes from 3pm to 2pm EAT.
The kickoff time for the Sony Sugar versus AFC Leopards game has changed from 3pm to 1pm as the sugar belt region continues to experience heavy rains in the afternoons.
The match venue remains Awendo Green Stadium on Saturday 5 October.
Sofapaka will be hosting Bandari at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Sunday 6 October; the kickoff time for the game has been moved from 2pm to 3pm.
KPL states that this change has been made in line with the Round 5 TV schedule.
Another match that will have venue and time change is the Gor Mahia versus Zoo FC clash on Sunday 6 October.
Originally the match was to be played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos but will now be played at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. The kickoff time also changes from 4:15 pm to 3 pm EAT.
