Bottom placed Kayole Starlets improved their rank on the Kenya Women Premier League (WPL) log on Saturday 5 October after seeing off Spedag 2 – 1 at Camp Toyoyo as the league entered round 27.
Kayole opened the scores in the 49th minute after half time through Christine Ngoizi, who would complete her brace in the 74th minute.
Spedag would, however grab a 90th minute consolation through Sharon Adhiambo. With the result, Spedag moves to bottom place with 12 points while Kayole displaces Spedag after registering 14 points.
The second match of the day saw Wadadia pick a 1-0 win over Kibera Soccer, Wadadia’s winner came in the 15th minute through Marion Abionah.
