Kariobangi Sharks will be playing host to Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia on Match Day 6 of the 2019/20 season and the match initially scheduled for Moi International Sports Center (MISC), Kasarani has been handed a new venue.
The Sunday 20 October clash will now be played at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, and the kickoff time also switches to 4pm EAT.
Kasarani Stadium is unavailable for the hosts – Kariobangi Sharks – due to maintenance works on its surface, the facility having hosted a number of matches in succession in recent times.
For the clash at Afraha Stadium, fans will have to part with Kshs 500 as gate charges to catch the match from the main stand (VIP) while to watch it from the terraces will cost Kshs 200 at the gate.
Hosts, Sharks will handle the ticketing, with the sales set to take place on the match day at the gates.
Heading to the game, six points separate the two sides, with Sharks placed 13th, having picked just one win in their opening five matches while Gor Mahia top the standings with 12 points, and having played a game lesser.
