Ulinzi Stars will play host to Bandari FC in round 9 of the KPL on Sunday in Nakuru and ahead of the game, Benjamin Nyangweso’s team have confirmed the return from injury of two of its stars.
Defender George Omondi and midfielder Boniface Okinyi who have been out on the sidelines with injury have been passed fit for the visit of Bandari after going through their paces without any setbacks this week.
The return of the two is a big boost for the team with the joint best defensive record so far. Currently in 8th place on the standings with 13 points, Ulinzi have conceded just three goals in the eight games they have played.
It is not all positive though for the Soldiers as striker Enosh Ochieng (groin), goalkeeper James Saruni (ankle) and defenders Omar Mbongi (thigh) and Cyril Nasiali (knee) remain sidelined.
Enosh and Mbongi are expected back in about two weeks while Saruni and Nasiali have begun light training.
Ulinzi will play host to Bandari at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru looking to claim their fourth win of the season.
