Nzoia teenager out of Zoo clash

Nzoia Sugar FC travel to Zoo FC this Sunday- 10th of November on the back of a match week 8 loss to Tusker in Machakos.

The Sugar millers, currently without the services of Rama Mwenda and Nigol Mohammed who sustained injuries when they drew 1-1 with Kariobangi Sharks in Sudi a fortnight ago, will now have to do without the services of 16-year-old Ian Simiyu- a player who in fact, scored in their 3-2 loss to Tusker.

”Simiyu has a mild Medial collateral ligament sprain,” team doctor Amir Magwara tells Soka.

”He sustained it in training session and we are looking at a possible return happening after the international break. So he will miss our clash against Zoo,”

Simiiyu, who has only played twice for Nzoia, came off the bench to give his side their second goal of the game against Tusker last Saturday and was well psyched up for another outing with play-time seemingly finding favour with him in recent matches.

Nzoia are just a point above Zoo FC on the 18-team Kenyan Premier League log and have won once in their last five encounters. Their Sunday hosts have gone without a win in five.
