Kenyan Premier League *KPL) champions Gor Mahia will have a busy period during the FIFA international week, which commences right after this weekend’s matches.
Gor Mahia have landed an invite from Libyan giants Al Hilal Benghazi for a friendly match on Saturday 16 November, as reported by the club.
K’Ogalo will leave for north Africa on Tuesday 12 November, and will have a brief stopover in Cairo, Egypt before heading to Benghazi for the match.
Four to miss trip
The team will be without a number of regulars, including defender Joash Onyango, and midfielders Lawrence Juma as well as captain Kenneth Muguna, who will be with the national team ahead of the game against Egypt in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
Goalkeeper David Mapigano will also miss the trip after being called up to the Tanzania national team.
Before heading to the friendly match, Gor Mahia have a domestic assignment, a game against arch rivals AFC Leopards slated for Sunday 10 November at Kasarani.
