Posta Rangers made a big stride up the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) log after registering a 3 – 0 win over bottom side Chemelil Sugar in the Round 9 clash staged at the Narok County Stadium.
Charles Odette opened the scoring proceedings in the 10th minute and Francis Nambute was on hand to add to the Millers’ woes in the 29th minute, to see the Mailmen head to the break with a comfortable cushion.
Mbugi sealed it
Skipper Joseph Mbugi wrapped it all up with a 51st minute penalty goal which also ensured the hosts secure three points to move five places up to fourth place on the KPL standings.
The loss leaves Chemelil Sugar at the foot of the table, with just one point to show from their opening eight matches. The team, currently wading through tough financial times, has already given away one walkover.
The Millers remain one of the two sides yet to register a win so far in the season, the other being newly promoted Kisumu All Stars, who have three points going to Match Day 9.
