Defending Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia FC have dispatched Bandari FC by two goals, un-replied at their home turf the Mbaraki Sports Club, a round 11 KPL match played from 3 pm.
Gor took the lead through Samuel Onyango- who filled in for skipper Kenneth Muguna- in the added minutes of first half after being set up by Gislein Yikpe.
In the second half- Francis Afriyie would double Gor’s lead with a fantastic solo efforted goal three minutes after the restart.
The hosts were undone by a missed penalty that could have brought them back in the game as William Wadri couldn’t get his six-yard effort past Boniface Oluoch.
The win takes Gor to 24 points from just nine matches.
At the Machakos County Stadium, Kisumu All Stars’ winning streak was halted by AFC Leopards after Whyvonne Isuza’s first-half goal proved to be the difference in the 4 pm kick-off clash.
