Mathare United were 4-1 winners over Chemelil Sugar on Sunday 24 November at the Muhoroni grounds as round 11 of the KPL kicked off across the country.
Goals from Clifford Alwanga, Chris Oduor, Daniel Otieno and James Kinyanjui handed cash strapped Chemelil their eighth loss of the season that leaves them rooted at the bottom of the log.
Mathare provided the perfect response in Muhoroni to being deducted three points they had won against Sony Sugar and also to the loss to Sofapaka last time out.
Salim Ali’s charges now move up back to 17 points and in 4th place, though that could change with the round still in play.
Elsewhere in Machakos, a Timothy Otieno 82nd minute strike was enough to hand Tusker FC a 1-0 win over Posta Rangers.
