As expected, the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) has made changes to a number of matches, owing to the Kenya national team’s participation in the 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge. The fixtures changes will touch mostly on Gor Mahia, Mathare United and Ulinzi Stars matches, with the three sides having three players each in the national team.
The scheduled Round 13 match pitting Ulinzi Stars against Zoo FC at the Afraha Stadium has thus been moved to Sunday 22 December and will be kicking off at 3pm EAT at the same venue.
Kisumu All Stars v Gor Mahia
Gor Mahia were set to face off with home side Kisumu All Stars at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday. That match has also been moved to Sunday 22 December and will still be played at the lakeside city.
AFC Leopards was scheduled to host Mathare United at the Kenyatta Stadium Machakos on Sunday 8 December, and the match has since been rescheduled to Sunday 22 December.
Meanwhile, Kariobangi Sharks will be taking on Tusker FC in the first match of Round 13, at the Moi International Sports Center (MISC), Kasarani, on Friday 6 December, starting 1.30pm EAT. This match will be aired live on KTN Home.
Bandari v Wazito FC
On the same day, Bandari FC will be at home to welcome Wazito FC in a match moved from Saturday. The clash at Mbaraki Sports Club is set to kick off at 2pm EAT.
In other matches on the weekend, Chemelil Sugar will welcome Western Stima at Muhoroni Stadium on Saturday at 3pm EAT while Nzoia Sugar will be at Sudi Stadium on the same day to face Kakamega Homeboyz starting 3pm EAT.
On Sunday, KCB FC will take on Posta Rangers at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos in the only game set for the day.
