The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) will continue on Wednesday 11 December, with a number of matches on the cards. One of them – Wazito FC versus Tusker FC, will now kick off at 4pm EAT, a departure from the 3pm kickoff earlier communicated.
The change in the match has been occasioned by the fact that the clash will be aired live on the day.
Meanwhile, the Chemelil Sugar versus Ulinzi Stars match, which was earlier postponed to Sunday 29 December, will now be played on Wednesday 11 December after one of the Ulinzi Stars players called up to Harambee Stars was dropped, leaving the team with two players on national team duty.
The match will be played at the Muhoroni Stadium starting 3pm EAT.
More Wednesday action
Two more matches will be on the cards on Wednesday; Kakamega Homeboyz will host Bandari FC at the Bukhungu Stadium starting 3pm EAT while Western Stima will be at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu to host Zoo FC.
On Tuesday 10 December, Sofapaka will play host to Kisumu All Stars at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos starting 3pm EAT.
Going to the round of matches, Gor Mahia, whose matches have been postponed for now, top the standings on 25 points, one better than second placed Tusker. Gor Mahia have two matches in hand.
On the other end, Chemelil Sugar, the only winless side in the season, have managed just one point and are placed 17th.
