FKF Polls: Dates set for repeat elections

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Electoral Board made one more step towards the repeat elections with the release of the electoral calendar to guide the repeat polls occasioned by the nullification of the elections in 2019.

The new process is now set to kick off on 14 March 2020, with the County Elections the first in the order, then the National Elections will follow suit a fortnight later, with the stipulated date being 27 March 2020.

In between the county and National Elections, there will be a window for appeals and hearing of disputes arising from the counties. The Electoral Board will hear the said disputes starting 16 March up to 18 March, 2020 then the Appeals Committee will hear the same between 19 March and 21 March, 2020.

At the close of the national Elections, the Electoral board will have hearing for disputes arising from there between 30 March and 1 April, 2020. The Appeals Committee will then have hearings on the same between 2 April and 4 April, 2020.

On its official website, the Electoral Board has also published the list of clubs that will take part in the voting processes while the final list of eligible voters will be published on 16 February 2020.
