Bandari youngster signs with Belarusian top flight side

Bandari Football Club will be without the services of youngster Mohammed Katana alias Messi Agege after the 20 year old signed for Belarusian club FC Smolevichi.

Confirming this development through their official social media handles, the Mombasa-base side did not, however, reveal for how long Katana will be with Smolevichi.

”Our talented midfielder Mohammed Katana (Messi Agege) has joined Belarusian top-flight side FC Smolevichi based in Smolevichi, Minsk Oblast.

We wish the lad a great outing in Belarus.

Go fly the Kenyan flag 🇰🇪

Bandari Team Manager Wilson Oburu is a delighted man after seeing a youngster he rated so highly sign for a European club.”He has great ability and I was surprised why it has taken him this long to get such a club. His ability is beyond any question,” Oburu says of the lad who was only at Bandari after signing an 18-month deal from Portuguese second-tier side Leixoes SC.
