Harambee Starlets midfielder Cynthia Shilwatso has pulled out of the team’s preparations for next month’s Turkish Women’s Cup.
The Vihiga Queens midfielder requested to be omitted from the provisional 25 player squad that hit camp on Sunday 23 February.
She will be replaced by Zetech Sparks midfielder Foska.
The final squad consisting of 21 players will be named in the course of the week right before the team departs the country on Monday 2 for the European nation.
The Turkish Women’s Cup also known as the Alanya Gold City Cup is an annual football women’s tournament held since 2018. France have won every single edition. They will however not take part in this year’s tourney.
The other teams set to participate are; Hungary, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Romania, Uzbekistan, Northern Ireland, Turkmenistan, and Chile.
