The Kenya national team, Harambee Stars will enjoy top notch preparations ahead of their 2022 Qatar World Cup qualification matches, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa has declared.
The team will play Uganda, Rwanda and Mali in the first leg of the qualifiers that will start in June 2021 and end in September next year.
Mwendwa said the federation is not taking any chances ahead of the qualifiers.
“Together with our sponsors we are doing everything possible to ensure the team has the best preparations before the qualifiers begin. We have sorted the issue of allowances and it is no longer a problem.
“Furthermore, the team preparations will be enhanced by technology to ensure that the players don’t miss out on anything. We will also give them five star treatment as we have done by ensuring that they camp in a five star facility.
“We will make it a habit to be sending an advance party ahead to ensure that the team is well taken care of when they land. Furthermore, they will not use a commercial plane but we will ensure the availability of a private jet to ensure the team is comfortable every time we travel for matches,” he said.
