All clubs that beat Zoo Kericho in the first leg of the Football Kenya Premier League (FKF-PL) will be deducted three points. This is in accordance with the rules governing the league. Among the clubs that will lose points are league leaders Tusker who had beaten the Kericho side 2-1 in January. Champions Gor Mahia who beat Zoo Kericho 3-0 will also lose three points. Gor Mahia had won the match on January 27 in Nairobi. Nzoia Sugar, Bidco United, Sofapaka and Nairobi City Stars will also lose points despite beating the side. Completing the list is Wazito who recently won 1-0 against the expelled side. According to rules governing the league, if a club is expelled before the end of the first leg, all the teams who had won against them are deducted three points. If this had happened in the second leg, all teams would have been added three points.
