Equity Bank and AFC Leopards are through to the semi-finals of the Betway Cup after winning their matches on Wednesday.
It was the bankers who caused the biggest upset after edging out defending champions Bandari 1-0 at Utalii grounds.
Leopards on the other hand edged out Tusker 1-0 at Utalii grounds to book a date with Equity Bank in the last four.
Bandari were always favorites coming the match. First, they were the defending champions and secondly they had thrashed Sigalagala 5-0 in the round of 16.
However, in the end it was Equity who are handled by former Sofapaka coach John Barasa who had the last laugh after Evans Katumba scored in the 57th minute to give them the all important win.
In another match, Leopards edged out Tusker 1-0 to pick the other semi-final ticket and set up a potential mouth-watering clash against Equity Bank.
Isaac Kipyegon scored from the penalty spot in the 38th minute to hand Leopards another win.
The penalty was awarded after Humphrey Mieno handled an Austin Odhiambo corner kick forcing the referee to point to the box.
